About the Role:

CrowdStrike India is looking for a Team Lead, SOX with a strong SOX Compliance and Operational Audit background to join our growing and dynamic organization. A career within SOX at CrowdStrike will enable you to assist our business partners in optimizing control activities, policies, and procedures. You will review audit workpapers, conduct relevant controls testing, perform readiness assessments, and leverage your experience with various process cycles to help our business partners understand risks and achieve optimal operational efficiency. This position will be reporting to the Director of SOX Compliance. The position will be responsible for the execution of the Company's Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program for business and able to assist in IT process cycles and operational audit projects.

What You'll Do:
  • Opportunity to lead and/or manage a team member in India.
  • Assist in evaluation of new processes, policies, and systems to determine impact and compliance with the SOX program.
  • Leverage expertise in relevant key IT general controls and process cycles like Provisioning, De-provisioning, Change Management, Equity, Period-End, Treasury, Tax, etc. to properly assess risks and ensure proper mitigating controls are in place.
  • Participate in annual and iterative aspect of SOX planning and scoping activities to assist in evaluating significant changes to the Business and IT environment.
  • Collaborate with SOX Finance and IT teams to understand and document in-scope process controls, application systems, and automated application controls, in addition to key report and spreadsheet testing.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in maintaining and updating process documentation, process narrative and risk control matrices.
  • Lead and plan process walkthroughs, test of design (TOD) and test of effectiveness (TOE) to evaluate internal controls compliance and implementation.
  • Execute control testing, internal review activities for assigned process cycles.
  • Perform review of third-party service providers SOC1 Reports.
  • Provide guidance and meaningful review comments to testers to improve audit documentation.
  • Evaluate audit findings, identify control gaps and deficiencies. Report and coordinate remediation plan with process owners.
  • Ability to make recommendations for process optimization and communicate to business process owners and SOX management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring on-time deliverables.
  • Maintain internal SOX reporting within WDesk.
What You'll Need:
  • 8+ years of SOX controls auditing, consulting and/or implementing IT controls solutions
  • 1-2 years of experience in leading or managing a team
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • CPA and/or CA, Certifications (CIA or CISA or CPA) preferred
  • Excellent project management and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and SEC Regulations
