About the Role:

CrowdStrike is looking for Senior Software Engineers in Android to design and develop a next-generation mobile user experience. If you are passionate about building the best apps in the App Store, bring that passion and help us build a new experience for Android devices. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take the lead on tackling meaningful, ambitious challenges, and as a core team member, bringing innovative technical solutions to market. You should have a strong understanding of modern mobile architecture, and a desire to be creative in solving tough challenges. You will have the opportunity to mentor other mobile engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise with the rest of the team.

This role requires deep technical knowledge in Android development. This role reports to the CTO, Falcon Platform.

What You'll Need:
  • A desire to collaborate closely with users, designers, & testers to deliver quality software that solves problems.
  • Experience publishing Android apps to the App Store
  • Experience with testing frameworks, tools and methodologies
  • Functional knowledge & interest in developing genuinely accessible interfaces.
  • Experience implementing cutting-edge mobile technologies,
  • Comfortable with Git/version control workflows.
  • A relentless pursuit of simple, intuitive user experience and design
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Extensive experience developing robust, user friendly apps using Java and Kotlin
  • Previous experience designing and developing solutions to complex problems with significant business impact
  • Proven ability to learn other coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools
  • Experience owning projects from the initial idea all the way to production
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers
Bonus Points:
  • Direct experience with cross platform languages like React Native, Dart or Flutter
  • Familiarity with iOS apps and development
