The Product:

You will be part of the Data Science Software Development team. You'll have the opportunity to implement, validate, test technologies as libraries and software development kits for internal/external customers and to work with Machine Learning experts on creating predictive models on a diverse and multidisciplinary team

About the Role:

We are looking to hire Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (India remote) focused on Creating testing strategy, integration testing, feature testing, creating test framework, validating new features, white box testing, maintaining and expanding build and CI/CD pipeline. You will be part of CrowdStrike's Data Science team that is expanding -- we are at the exciting intersection of Machine Learning, Big Data, and Security and are looking to add a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with significant Rust experience to our growing team.

You'll have the chance to broaden your horizons by working jointly with a team of Big Data, Machine Learning, and Security domain experts on hard and impactful problems.

What You'll Do:
  • Be responsible for development of testing strategy
  • Write and execute test cases from user stories and specifications
  • Write automated test cases using Rust, Python and C++ to ensure quality of a new code and avoid regressions
  • Develop and enhance frameworks & tools for test automation
  • Design and implement comprehensive white-box testing solutions to validate internal code structures and logic
  • Build and maintain scalable test infrastructure leveraging cloud platforms for high-volume test execution
  • Optimize build and CI/CD pipelines for efficient test execution and reporting
What You'll Need:
  • Passionate about software quality and shipping quality code
  • An independent self-starter who likes to take ownership and independently seeks out new challenges
  • Always ready to learn and step outside of your comfort zone to blaze the trail for new technology
  • 12+ years of experience with Rust/C++ and familiarity with Python (we often wrap our Rust code)
  • Expert in white-box testing methodologies with strong ability to analyze and test code at the structural level
  • Advanced knowledge of Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline-as-code and integration with testing frameworks
  • Experienced in designing and implementing test solutions that scale in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Working knowledge of Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins and Jira
  • Knowledge of docker/container
  • Comfortable with Windows, macOS and Linux platforms
  • Knowledge of performance testing
  • Familiar with agile software development methodologies
  • Familiar with cloud computing platform(s) AWS/GCP/Azure
Bonus Points:
  • Good to have knowledge of fuzz testing.
  • Good to have knowledge of file formats like PE, ELF, Mach-O, MS Office, Zip, Packers
  • Good to have familiar with software vulnerabilities and secure programming
  • Interested in Machine Learning
