About the Role:
This role is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring HRBP Specialist/Generalist, to learn grow and develop their HR skills/capability/knowledge within a rapidly growing global company, where you can help to influence the HR practices as the business continues to scale. As a member of the EMEA HR Team, you will be working with our HR Business Partners, on the development, implementation, and administration of the following human resource functions: Talent Management, Employment Relations, Performance Management, Engagement, Employee Development, Recognition, Compensation and Compliance.
You will enjoy working in a hybrid model, spending time in the Reading office (2-3 days per week), to create a strong presence and meaningful partnerships with your key stakeholders including the wider HR team. This role requires strong attention to detail, exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task and maintain the highest level of integrity. You will be customer focused and able to establish and maintain effective relationships in a fast paced and changing environment.
This role is a fixed term contract until November 2026
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with the European HR Business Partner and COE's to implement and support programs, policies and initiatives.
- Build credible and trusting relationships with leaders and employees to help facilitate effective employee communications and relations.
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports to ensure people business metrics are quantified and outcome driven.
- Conduct research and analyse data on assigned projects.
- Own and assist HRBP with the delivery of Performance Improvement Processes.
- Partner with HR Operations and Total Rewards and act as an advisor to employees on people related questions, such as employee data, compensation and benefits queries like leave of absence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist with employee off-boarding process including Workday workflow, communication with employee, exit surveys/interviews and separation agreements.
- Develop and support people programs and initiatives, including support CrowdStrike's Culture and Values.
- May assist in the formulation of policies and procedures.
- Work with HR Business Partner to operationalise the Regions HR plan including devising and implementing initiatives, with input and guidance from the HR Director and regional HRBP
- Work across the region to support and help/advise managers on people practices, including Probations Reviews, LOAs and other areas as advised.
- Partner with COE's including L&D/EX, Compensation, Benefits, ER, Compliance and Global Mobility to operationalise programs and support processes.
- Run HR reports from Workday/Tableau as requested, on people performance metrics.
- Use metrics alongside your daily work to measure progress, and inform the development of new processes or policies.
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience within the field of HR
- Solid understanding of European employment laws
- Experience in managing performance management processes
- Foundational knowledge of data collection, integrity and analysis
- Experience collaborating with an international cross-functional team
- Prior experience in a growing, face-paced software organisation preferred

- Keep up to date with the latest HR best practice and share learning and inputs with the wider HR team.

- Experience in an HR Operational role, in a comparable industry/organization.
- Experience working within a global business would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and be an effective problem solver.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure.
- Self-motivated and willing to identify opportunities to innovate.
- Strong result and goal orientation.
- Must have good judgment, be able to maintain confidentiality and work with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
