About the Role:

This role is within CrowdStrike's Commerce team, whose mission is to enable product-led growth through product trials and direct purchase.

We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong background in data wrangling and analysis to join our team. The primary responsibilities will include monitoring and reporting on KPI metrics, conducting ad hoc analysis, and identifying trends and insights from data. Aide in maintaining and providing annual and quarterly target setting, forecasting, budgeting, and KPI attainment tracking. As a key member of the Analytics team, this position collaborates cross-functionally with business partners and leadership, assisting with strategizing and building out analyses and dashboards that track progress toward goal achievement.

What You'll Do:
  • Perform data wrangling and cleansing tasks to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
  • Create visualizations and dashboards in Tableau to effectively communicate insights and findings.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions and formulas to perform calculations and organize data.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support business decisions and address specific inquiries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Identify risks and opportunities through data analysis and propose recommendations for improvement.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Business, or Computer Science.
  • Proven experience in an operational analyst role, including project management and KPI tracking
  • 3+ years of experience with planning, budgeting, and reporting
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation techniques.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets to extract meaningful insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
