About the Role:
We are looking to hire a Cloud Engineer to help develop our next-gen third party data ingest integrations using our homegrown ingest platform. Our platform currently processes 1B events per day, you will create integrations that can scale seamlessly to handle petabyte scale.
What You'll Do:
- Help define, build, and maintain our thirdparty data integrations for third party APIs and public cloud services.
- Work with industry-leading technologies like Kafka, Elastic Search and Cassandra.
- Troubleshoot critical production issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with event stream platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with NoSQL and Relational DB's
- Hands on experience in large-scale (distributed) system architecture, high scalability and availability, and optimization
- Experience in building data platforms at scale
- GoLang/Java/Python skills with strong debugging skills
- Operational experience in the tuning of clusters for optimal data processing
- Experience working in Linux
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes based development and orchestration.
- Contributed to the open source community (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging)
- Experience with commercial clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Prior experience in the cybersecurity or intelligence fields.
