Job Mission

As our Country SG&A and Consolidation Controller, you play a pivotal role in our financial planning and analysis processes, ensuring the alignment of budgeting activities with organizational objectives. Your responsibilities include designing effective budget models, coordinating the budget/forecast process, and collaborating with financial controllers to analyze variances between actual and budgeted financial results. In addition to managing budget submissions and proposing spending improvements, you actively contribute to our long-term strategic plans and translate them into actionable financial plans. You engage with regional controllers, and foster close collaboration with senior management and the controlling team. Your strong business partnership with internal stakeholders ensures effective decision support, while your adherence to regulations and policies upholds our commitment to integrity. With your expertise in controlling, reporting, budgeting and capital expenditure management cycle, you prepare financial documents and consolidated reports that provide valuable insights to company management.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement budget models for business lines, SG&A departments, CAPEX, and oversee the full budget and forecast cycle.
  • Analyze financial variances in collaboration with controllers and present insights in business and regional meetings.
  • Ensure timely and accurate budget submissions from department owners and cost center managers.
  • Identify and recommend SG&A and CAPEX optimization opportunities to enhance profitability.
  • Drive long-term strategic planning and translate it into actionable annual financial plans.
  • Prepare and deliver periodic and ad-hoc financial reports for cluster, regional, and terminal management.
  • Foster strong partnerships with senior leadership, finance, and operational teams to align financial goals with business objectives and support informed decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree, (a big plus in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, with demonstrated proficiency in designing budget models and coordinating budget processes
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to align financial plans with organizational goals and objectives
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced knowledge of Excel, ERP and other finance specific applications
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Experience in project management and capital expenditure
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to financial reporting and budgeting
