JobSummary

A Lead will oversee a section of the production crew as the team leader.

Job Responsibilities

• Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities
• Design and implement 5 S projects
• Ability to contribute to building a positive team spirit and coach others
• Examining and inspecting work progress and equipment to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met
• Completes all production and reporting daily
• Ensures quality has been completed to the highest standard and saftey procedures are followed
• Substituting for workers during worker absence or to relieve work-congested areas.
• Assisting workers in resolving problems and evaluating performance

Job Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience as a plant laborer or equivalent
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have forklift and crane operator certification, or be able to attain certification
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Strong interpersonal and organizations skills
• Using hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 40 Ibs. on a regular basis

Compensation

• The hourly pay rate is $27.50/hr
