Job Summary
The Plant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a plant. The Plant Supervisor will also need to develop and maintain teamwork within the facility to ensure a productive outcome.

Job Responsibilities
- Supervise, evaluate, coach, and motivate personnel supervised
- Manage the workforce assigned to the plant daily
- Direct work at plant locations and job sites
- Maintain quality assurance of the plant as required
- Perform routine plant maintenance
- Control expenditures and maximize profits for the plant, region, and company
- Control and maintain inventory levels
- Routinely inspect vehicles, equipment, reports, and repairs needed
- Assist with accident and environmental investigation/compliance
- Complete all the paperwork and reports required by the company in a timely manner
- Issue discipline at the direction of the Louisburg L& G Site Manager
- Review timecards and monitor attendance
- Other duties may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Physical requirements include lifting up to 65 lbs., extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing, working inside and outside, and use of fall protection equipment
- Able to perform job tasks in sometimes dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions
- Able to sit for extended periods, climb up & down from cab heights, and work effectively in extreme outdoor climate(s) - cold, heat, rain, fog
- Experience in wood/pulp/mulch manufacturing preferred
- Experience with heavy equipment and machinery
