In this role, you will assist with the daily maintenance of our crushing plant and with the production of aggregates. You'll play an integral part as we stand together to reinvent the way our world is built.

Wage: $25.42/hr - $31.77/hr DOE w/ potential for overtime
This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Work with crusher team to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and malfunctions of crushing plant.
- Electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Dismantles and reassembles equipment using hoists, hand tools, and power tools.
- Weld broken part and structural member using cutting torch and welding equipment.
- Demonstrate skills in basic fabrication.
- Perform general cleaning of work area and maintenance areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- Promptly communicate with supervisors on any flaws in material.
- Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.
- Regular and timely attendance.
- Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Minimum Qualifications
- Preference to mechanical skills
- Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment-controlled substance testing.
- Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance, attendance, and punctuality.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently, without direct supervision.
- Demonstrates the willingness to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
- Demonstrates the willingness to learn and work on a variety of job tasks.
- Demonstrates the ability to work and communicate well with supervisor, plant personnel, and other employees.
- Demonstrates the ability to conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT and all other company or state rules and regulations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Safety sensitive: "Per RCW 49.44.240 this position has been identified by the employer as safety sensitive and will be subject to an employer-required pre-employment drug screening that includes testing for nonpsychoactive cannabis metabolites."
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous crushing and/or maintenance experience preferred.
- Knowledge of machines, tools, equipment, mechanic's hand tools, power tools, welding and cutting equipment, lubricating tools, hoists, cranes, service trucks, and electrical testing highly preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment highly preferred.
