Job Summary

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for assembly of the following products: doors, boxes, covers, pads, frames, vaults, and more as needed. The assembly worker will use hand tools, power tools, grind, and minor painting.

Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret Production Work Orders (PWO), Assembly Pick Sheets (Orders), Engineering Prints, and Daily production schedule
• Identify safety hazards in the assembly area
• Perform TPM, maintenance checks on area equipment daily and weekly
• Inspect material, products, or equipment for defects
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturing or construction experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
• Must be able to work in a hot and cold environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically throughout the day
• Must be able to read engineering prints
• Light welding is a plus
