IT Compliance & Controls Analyst - CRH Europe

Are you ready to take your compliance expertise to the next level in a global organisation? At CRH Europe, we're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Compliance & Controls Analyst to lead our compliance programme within the IT Infrastructure & Operations function.

As part of our high-performing technology team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that all IT services meet regulatory and internal compliance standards - including SOX controls. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across Europe, work closely with IT leadership, and help drive process improvements that support business resilience and audit readiness.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead the design and standardisation of SOX and IT compliance controls, identifying gaps and recommending improvements
  • Oversee third-party compliance assurance and contribute to the CRH IT control framework
  • Support our operating companies in aligning IT practices with audit recommendations
  • Report on compliance and control status to internal stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement in IT Compliance processes, working alongside Internal Audit and Financial Reporting Controls teams


What You'll Bring:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Risk or Security Management
  • Proven experience in IT compliance, audit, or risk - ideally with strong exposure to SOX testing and ITGCs
  • Solid knowledge of IT security practices and frameworks
  • Professional certification (e.g., CISA) highly valued
  • A pragmatic, analytical approach with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A collaborative, international mindset with the ability to influence and build consensus
