PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- The Finance Executive is responsible for handling the day-to-day accounting tasks, primarily focusing on accounts payable and receivable. The role also supports general accounting functions, including ledger management, reconciliation, and financial record maintenance, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform general ledger (GL) reconciliations.
- Upload vendor and employee payments via Citibank platform.
- Update SAP B1 with payment transactions.
- Review and verify employee claims and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.
- Perform account balancing on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
- Post accounts monthly and generate bank reconciliation statements.
- Prepare and send monthly Debtors' Statements.
- Review supplier statements and reconcile them against invoices received.
- Ensure timely accrual of payments to suppliers, taxes, and other relevant provisions.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure a systematic filing system for easy document retrieval.
- Assist with month-end closing and other routine financial activities as required.
- It is not possible to enumerate all duties, but your scope covers all Finance and Accounts related responsibilities.

KEY FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Posses a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advance/Higher/Graduate/Degree in Business Studies / Finance / Accounting / or equivalent.
- Competent with Accounting ERP System, SAP B1 preferred.
- Excellent with MS Excel (V look-up, H look-up etc.) | MS PowerPoint.
- Committed and have displayed a sense of urgency to respond to customers.
- Goal oriented, analytical, self-motivated, confident, proactive, and initiative. The ability to be flexible, decisive, and quick-thinking.
- Committed, responsible, multitask and able to work under stress.
- High level of integrity and able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
