Position Overview
The Equipment Administrator is responsible for maintaining and improving the support systems needed to manage the equipment fleet. Manages the rental, construction and delivery fleet. Works with area equipment managers to assure accurate cost and accounting practices are administered. This position works under the direction of the Equipment Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for own personal safety at all times; as well as maintain the highest standard of safety and quality in all aspects of the job.
- Provide accurate data to Equipment Manager to help assist with managing and reducing cost for on and off highway equipment
- Manages on highway and construction fleet in all aspects i.e. maintenance, purchase, disposal and rentals
- Supports and trains shop managers and area managers with proper use of viewpoint, infield, CMMS and AMT systems
- Manage KPI's within CMMS work request, work orders, downtime reporting, meter entries and PM's
- Assist all other equipment managers and admin with month end reconciliation processes
- Monitors company PM schedules and work with shop leads to assure they get completed on time
- Regular and timely attendance

Requirements
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the general public at all times.
- Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Report to the assigned job site ready to begin work at the designated start time,
- Strict adherence to the Pennsy Supply, Inc. Safety Manual.
- Strict adherence to the Pennsy Supply, Inc. policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as assigned.
- Mobility to attend various meetings and events at offsite locations
- Hours are extended throughout the year to include nights and weekends when necessary
- Travel may be required
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years' experience.
- Basic computer skills are needed.
- Previous experience with CMMS or other asset management systems preferred.
