Job Responsibilities
- Follows all safety procedures and protocols.
- Responsible for maintenance and improvements of plant wide control systems and machinery.
- Ability to troubleshoot and program PLC's, HMI's, VFD and servo drives.
- Improve & upgrade existing machinery controls to improve performance and efficiency as needed to existing machine programs for various PLC, HMI Touchscreen, VFD platforms and servo drive.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems for all aspects of control system issues and component failures and control wiring, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
- Provide technical support in the development and implementation of our MES (Manufacturing execution system), HMI and data collection system for all production lines.
- Provide support in the implementation & integration of new custom or purchase machines & equipment. Support the floor team by transferring your know how and knowledge to the operation team.
- Interact with all departments to resolve any production issues.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of machine production machines.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Enter all work orders into CMMS system.
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary determined based on the needs of the business

Job Requirements
- Associates degree in engineering or related field from an accredited university preferred, not required.
- Electronics certification or equivalent experience required
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing experience preferred; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.
- Knowledge of MES and Ladder Logic.
- General knowledge of the English language, grammar, and strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement process in a LEAN environment.
- This job operates solely in a factory setting. This role requires standing for long periods of time, walking the plant floor is necessary which is within a non-climate-controlled environment. This will require always wearing Personal Protective Equipment such as safety glasses or ear protectors.
