People Analytics Analyst

We are seeking a People Analyst to enhance our People Team’s capabilities in data management and analysis. Reporting to our head of people analytics, the ideal candidate will bring a strategic and analytical approach to HR-related functions, supporting data-driven decision-making processes.

What you’ll do:

  • Utilize your knowledge of SQL, particularly with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform, to manage and analyze large datasets relevant to People functions.
  • Conduct Workday reporting and manage cloud analytics tools to provide insightful workforce reports.
  • Utilize Visier People Essentials or similar enterprise analytics platforms to generate workforce insights and trends.
  • Navigate key HR systems and processes in order to extract meaningful insights.
  • Leverage your HR and People-related functions experience to contextualize data analysis and findings.
  • Own analytics tasks, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and timely delivery of work to partners and stakeholders.
  • Use your acute attention to detail to ensure accuracy with data reporting and analysis.
  • Apply your strong verbal communication skills in order to explain and present data visually in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Navigate through ambiguous data scenarios, making informed assumptions and providing clear rationales for analytical choices.
  • Apply your working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analytics purposes.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a people analytics or HR analytics role.
  • Proven expertise in SQL and familiarity with cloud services, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Workday reporting and other cloud-based HR analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex data sets.
  • Experience with Visier People Essentials is highly desirable.

Pay Transparency Notice: Credit Karma’s mission of championing financial progress for all starts from within. That’s why we implemented role-based compensation, which ensures people who are in the same role receive the same pay with variations for geographic location only. It’s all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $102,122 - $117,333, plus equity and benefits.
