POS MERCHANDISING LEADER - RIMMEL & SALLY HANSEN,

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position of POS Leader is a key leadership role within the Rimmel & Sally team. The position oversees all temporary point of sale and some semi- permanent activity including promotional representation of the brand instore. The fundamental purpose of the role is to ensure Rimmel & Sally H are presented instore in the most inspirational yet clearly navigable way that makes our brands the most desirable to our target consumer vs our competition.

Your main focus :

  • Project management and leading the delivery of all Temporary and some semi-perm visual merchandising execution for Rimmel & Sally Hansen end to end giving direction/approval to the designs overall visual look and feel and functionality, acting as a brand guardian.
  • Validate Global Merchandising guidelines for in-store execution.
  • Think creatively to develop new design concepts with our Brand team and in house Design Studio Team, pushing global guidelines where possible.
  • Take ownership of instore launches to create the greatest impact and success in the market by developing a strong knowledge of the in-store POS sites and create monthly connects to share competitive insight with wider business.
  • Drive Temporary POS execution, delivering best in class designs in line with the strategy and the expectations of the trade + internal stakeholders. Working within our brand and retailer guidelines to ensure optimum presentation and impact in store and delivering on time and in full to all retailers.
  • Manage direct reports within the team, including appraisals, performance reviews and personal development plans.
  • Manage external merchandising agencies; briefing or overseeing briefs for activities to ensure smooth implementation of activities in store.
  • Manage projects within the agreed deadlines and budget constraints taking lead to communicate timelines and budget tracking to key stakeholders and implementing discipline to adhere to them for on time execution of plans.
  • Conducts supplier and client meetings to provide advice and influence in the decision-making process.
  • Managing suppliers to optimize costs & rate cards by challenging them on creativity, encouraging new innovations / material use.
  • Responsible for planning and managing the total A&CP Temporary POS CB budget for Rimmel & Sally Hansen, tracking monthly spend versus budget and finding ways to spend smartly.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You like to work independently and in a team. As an experienced POS Merchandising Lead, you are capable of working under pressure in a changing environment and to manage unexpected changes and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you:

  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects with a strong level of complexity and a wide range of partners.
  • Have experience in In-store strategy/Merchandising or Trade Marketing or Marketing with a strong passion for In-store and Beauty
  • Strong attention to detail - creative eye / appreciation of aesthetics.
  • Knowledge of shoppers, competitors and retailers in order to design the brand merchandising and enable its implementation in the market.
  • Strong power point skills to create outstanding presentations at short notice.
  • Analytical thinking and numerical skills.
  • Budget Management.
  • Able to read Technical/ Manufacturing drawings.
  • Technical knowledge about materials.
  • Knowledge of Abobe Creative Suite package beneficial but not essential.
