TECHNICAL SOLUTION CONSULTANT

We are seeking a Technical Solution Consultant that will be part of the sales team and is responsible for working closely with Sales Representatives, RVPs, Account Managers and Solution Consultants. The goal is to gain new customers and educate existing customers on our latest technologies. The Technical Solution Consultant is responsible for the technical aspects of the sales process. It is essential that each Technical Solution Consultant is current on technical, industry and product knowledge. Additionally, each Technical Solution Consultant is expected to work with the corporate team to help relay knowledge and best practices.

The Technical Solution Consultant will report directly to the Director of Strategic Solutions.

The Technical Solution Consultant will work alongside the rest of the Solution Consulting team. While a Solution Consultant is responsible for aligning and demonstrating product solutions with a focus on product features and capabilities, the Technical Solution Consultant has a focus on proactively positioning all of the Technical aspects of the product offering. At a high level, this includes:

  • Cloud Infrastructure and Operations
  • Security
  • Data Privacy
  • Integrations (APIs, Web Services, Data Import/Export Tools, Connectors)
  • System Architecture
  • Scalability / Reliability / Availability
  • Release Management
  • Disaster Recovery
  • Deliver demonstrations and create scripts for technical integration capabilities
  • Provide support for enablement of sales team platform and technology capabilities

In this role you will...

  • Convey value proposition for customers in regards to technology
  • Assist in aligning how technology meets client's needs, goals, and objectives
  • Understand customer's technology ecosystems and how our technology seamlessly fits into their environment
  • Accurately communicate simple and complex technical solutions
  • Adaptively communicate to both IT and business stakeholders
  • Transition accounts and communicate technical requirements and integration needs to implementation teams
  • Stay aware of competitive solutions and be able to position effectively against them
  • Assist with RFP's/RFI's/RFQ's
  • Communicate with the Solution Consultant team regarding best practices and differentiators
  • Consider privacy and security obligations
  • Learn and master our evolving products, team and processes
  • ... and being the rockstar you are, be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed

You've got what it takes if you have...

  • 5+ years of pre-sales experience with a focus on Cloud environments
  • In depth knowledge and experience with Cornerstone, EdCast or Saba Cloud products
  • Desired Skills: SaaS, Human Capital Management, Effective Communication, Solution/Consultative Selling, Team Player, Accountability, Salesforce.com, Enterprise Software, Customer Engagement, Talent/HRIS/CRM Management Systems Knowledge
  • Highly developed presentation skills
  • Strong relationship-building expertise
  • Proven experience of translating technology into client value
  • Strong drive to achieve results with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication, presentation, time management and organizational skills
  • The grit to work across timezones and teams to find answers to technical challenges
  • The ability to work with a geographically dispersed team
  • You will standout if you have experience with Federal Government procurement process and FedRAMP.
