Senior Principal Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking a versatile and results-driven Sr. Principal Digital Analyst with a strong blend of business analysis, project management, and digital transformation skills to support our employee-facing applications and ServiceNow (HR and IT improvement projects). This is a pivotal role at the intersection of technology, process, and strategy, ideal for a "jack-of-all-trades" who can flex between business analysis, project leadership, IT solution design, and executive support.

You will work across digital platforms (including employee apps and ServiceNow), drive key HR and IT initiatives, deliver strategic presentations, and help steer the IT roadmap-providing high-impact, end-to-end support to the Digital and Employee Experience teams. This role is a hands-on role and ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, evolving digital environment; thrives on variety; and is passionate about driving high-impact HR and IT projects from strategy to execution.

In this role you will...

  • Digital Solutions Delivery: Lead or support digital initiatives related to employee-facing tools and ServiceNow, from discovery and requirements through to implementation and adoption.
  • Business Analysis: Collaborate with HR, IT, and business partners to gather, analyze, and document requirements for process improvements or new digital capabilities.
  • Process Optimization and Improvement: Identify, assess, and recommend opportunities to streamline workflows or optimize service delivery across HR/IT using digital tools.
  • Strategy and Roadmap Support: Help develop and articulate the IT and digital transformation roadmap, create impactful presentations, and communicate complex ideas to executive audiences.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate meetings, workshops, and working sessions with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Digital, Vendors) to ensure project alignment and drive progress.
  • Documentation: Create project artifacts including business requirements, user stories, process flows, test scripts, and executive-level updates.
  • Change Management: Support communication and change management for digital rollouts, ensuring user adoption and feedback loops.
  • Project Management: Develop project plans, manage timelines, track deliverables, and communicate status to stakeholders for ServiceNow, employee app, and IT improvement projects (as needed).

You've got what it takes if you...

  • 10+ years' experience in business analysis, project management, or digital transformation roles within IT, HR, or enterprise digital environments. Consulting expertise is preferred.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with digital employee applications and Help Request applications (ITSM, HRSD, or similar modules) in roles such as Business Analyst, Engineer, or Project Manager.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects end-to-end: from requirements gathering through UAT and successful rollout.
  • Skilled at process mapping, user journey analysis, and workflow optimization for HR/IT improvement projects.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills-comfortable preparing and delivering materials for executive leadership (roadmaps, presentations, strategic recommendations).
  • Proficiency with project and productivity tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Asana, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Analytical thinker adept at problem-solving and tailoring solutions for business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams and collaborating between business, IT, and digital partners.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, adaptability, and "roll-up-the-sleeves" attitude.

  • Proven expertise delivering digital solutions for Employee Apps and ServiceNow, including business analysis, requirements gathering, and end-to-end project management across Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Skilled in workflow optimization, process improvement, and change management for HR/IT initiatives
