Cornerstone is looking for a Director of IT Operations & Corporate Security who will report to the Chief Digital and Information Officer and lead a global team of 32+ resources focused on IT operational excellence. This role is a collaborative one and, as such partners with various departments (like Marketing, Sales, Legal, HR, Tech Ops, Product, Engineering, Finance and Support) within the organization. The Director of IT Operations and Corp Security brings expertise, knowledge, and future vision for transforming the operations strategy, operating model, workforce, product and service offerings, and overall operations management. This leader is a senior stakeholder in all relationships with internal and externally sourced operations capabilities including companywide IT service desk support, desktop support, mobile devices support, video conference operations, infrastructure operations and IT ops engineering.

In this role you will...
- Develop and implement the vision, strategy, and roadmap for IT infrastructure services, including cloud, end-user computing, service desk, and corporate IT security and compliance.
- Oversee the technology direction and tools of the team, focusing on reducing manual workloads and reengineering processes through infrastructure automation.
- Enable a best-in-class IT operations function, delivering quality support and scalable solutions that drive productivity and efficiency.
- Lead the Corporate Security team in designing and developing strategies to support mergers and acquisitions and managing disaster recovery and risk mitigation plans.
- Drive the adoption of automation and 'shift-left' AI strategies to further mature the service desk, reducing manual workloads and improving efficiency.
- Work with stakeholders, including executive management to identify, define, and prioritize IT investment required to meet the strategic objectives of the company
- Introduce innovative and differentiating infrastructure which enhances overall end user experience and employee productivity
- Build and maintain relationships across the organization to manage escalations, customer impacts, and future needs, adjusting budget and resources as necessary
- Manage strategic relationships with key IT product and service partners.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance, availability, and reliability of IT infrastructure services, and implement corrective and preventive actions as needed

- Oversee the technology direction and tools of the team, focusing on reducing manual workloads and reengineering processes through infrastructure automation.
- Design and develop strategies to support mergers and acquisitions, including assisting facilities with office relocations, mergers, and closures.
- Identify and mitigate root cause issues pertaining to the IT infrastructure and systems; developing a disaster recovery and risk mitigation plan; working with external partners, auditors and consultants on risk management and regulatory compliance projects.
- Operate a formal governance mechanism to establish and monitor effective controls for the processes and functions performed by IT Operations teams. Support periodic review by audit teams, compliance teams and other risk-related functions as required.
You have what it takes if you have...
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, related discipline, or equivalent work experience;
- At least 10-15 years of relevant functional and technical experience, including 8 years in a leadership role including strategy, IT operations and service delivery experience.
- Expertise in building diverse teams with collaborative and innovative cultures with deep familiarity in current and emerging IT operations technologies and practices, and how other enterprises are employing them.
- Strong knowledge and technical expertise in cloud-centric enterprise architecture, specifically Microsoft Azure and AWS, with proven experience integrating new cloud operations with traditional infrastructure and application support operations
- Experience with the following technologies: Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, Microsoft O365, InTune, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Palo Alto, HP, Cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Oracle
- Demonstrated experience in M&A due diligence, integration and divestiture activities
- Proven ability to effectively lead and meet business objectives in a global, collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and good judgment.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.

- Any of the following certifications will be considered a plus. Cyber security: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+, SSCP or equivalent; Network: CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, CompTIA Network+ or equivalent; IT Operations and Project Management: ITIL, PMI-PMP; MCSE, Microsoft Azure or AWS certifications.
