Summary:
The Education Coordinator II - RT is a member of the Education and Professional Development team responsible for the delivery of respiratory education programs for respiratory care practitioners in all clinical areas and nursing staff in selected areas. The Education Coordinator coordinates and facilitates orientation, in-services, skills lab competency validations, continuing education, and ongoing competency development. The Education Coordinator collaborates with other health care team members to provide clinical input and education as an expert practitioner, facilitator and change agent for new initiatives and projects. This role promotes competency and quality care through educational activities that are consistent with the current health care trends and the strategic goals and promise of the organization.

Experience
- 3 years clinical experience as a respiratory care practitioner.
- 2 years of education experience.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in respiratory care or related sciences
- Master's Preferred
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification
- Registered Respiratory Therapist licensed in the state of Texas
- PALS
- NRP
- BLS
