Summary:
The Nurse Resident - Critical/Intermediate Care will actively participate in a 12-month clinical education opportunity designed to develop a professional nurse with a broad foundation in Pediatric Nursing, and strengthen critical thinking and clinical judgment abilities. The Nurse Resident will deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families with a team-orientation and with an emphasis on good customer relations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Current license or eligible for licensure to practice Nursing in Texas
- AHA BLS Card

Applicant eligibility
- Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program (BSN) or an entry-level master's of nursing program (MSN)
- Must apply as first professional nursing role
- Must pass the NCLEX prior to the start of the residency
- Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA to be considered
Disqualifications:
- Associate degree with:
- Prior work experience as a professional nurse
- Without BSN or entry-level MSN
- Must graduate within the time frame listed above
- Applicants who have previously applied to the nurse residency program are ineligible to reapply
- Application documents received after the deadline will not be considered
- Applicants may only apply to one of the two tracks.
