Additional Information:

The Marketing Representative will have a vital role in CCHPs Medicaid and CHIP membership growth and retention. Responsible for highly sensitive levels of interaction. Demonstrates decision making and problem solving skills, including collecting and analyzing information and development of alternative courses of action. Be a subject expert on presenting, promoting and marketing our programs to all interested; individuals, groups, community organizations, healthcare professionals, etc. Attention to detail and the ability to perform job duties with minimum direction are essential to this position. Develop presentations to various target audiences. Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with community contacts. Assure compliance with HHSC Marketing policies and procedures.

Education:

  • Associate Degree.( In lieu of Associate Degree four (4) years of directly related experience.)
  • A minimum of two (2) years successful Marketing and/or Outreach experience for a health plan or community-based organization with specific experience in Medicaid/CHIP managed care marketing, public relations, outreach, event planning, social work, or other related position. Knowledge of the communities served by CCHP: Denton, Hood, Johnson, Parker, Tarrant, and Wise Counties of Texas.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Must be a self-starter with a high level of accountability and responsibility. Able to work within a marketing goal oriented environment. Processes administrative tasks (e.g. paperwork) legibly, accurately, completely and on time. Plans and prepares for daily, weekly and monthly scheduled activities to achieve desired results. Manages and utilizes time and territory efficiently to keep track of a variety of tasks and achieve results. Track and trend membership and market growth according to Department guidelines. Strong written and computer skills required.
  • Communication Skills: Public speaking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, communicate and present message clearly and concisely, making adjustments for the audience, both verbally and in writing.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required. Must pass Spanish test prior to hire.

Certification/Licensure:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable motor vehicle. This position requires travel within the CCHP service area, which is Denton, Hood, Johnson, Parker, Tarrant, and Wise Counties of Texas.
