Summary:
The Manager of Utilization Management has the authority, accountability and responsibility for the supervision of the daily operations of the Utilization Management Program. Through effective leadership, motivation and coaching, the manager assures attainment of department key service and performance indicators.
Additional Information:
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy required.
- Master's degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, or Business preferred.
- Require a minimum of 5 years clinical experience and 3 years Utilization Management experience.
- Prefer previous supervisory experience to include hiring, training, or managing the performance of staff.
- Strong skills in the following areas, oral and written communication, critical thinking, organization, and time management.

Certification/Licensure:
- Current unrestricted license to practice nursing, speech, physical, or occupational therapy in the State of Texas.
