Summary:
• versee the department of psychiatry work and assigned staff. Models and facilitates teamwork to cultivate department pride by advocating for an environment that promotes high standards of care. Collaborates with each behavioral health unit to develop a unified system by fostering each unit's value and relevance to the department. Demonstrates sound judgment and appropriate decision-making abilities that take into consideration evidenced based practice.
Schedule:
- M-F Days but requires some on-call weekends

Education and Experience
- Master's Degree in social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited college or university
- 5 years psychiatric experience required
- Child growth and development education required
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Leadership experience preferred
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification
- LCSW, or LPC licensure required
- LCSW-S or LPC-S preferred
- BLS certification or must be completed within 60 days of start date
- CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention - Units 1-7 & 9-10 plus the CPI Children's Control Position from Unit 8 or must be completed within 60 days of start date
