Summary:
Provide secretarial, clerical, and administrative support for one or more of the in-house attorneys for Cook Children's Health Care System (CCHCS).
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, G.E.D.
• r equivalent. - A minimum of 8 years legal office experience.
- Proficient in spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Highly proficient in the use of word processors, calculators, and other office machines.
- At least ten years computer experience.
- Typing speed of 65-70 wpm corrected for errors.
- Cooperative and courteous to visitors and employees, focused on customer service.
- Initiative and good judgment.
- Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
- Ability to make independent decisions within scope of responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Highly proficient in use of specified software used in Legal Department.
- Ability to do basic legal research.
- Familiarity with legal terminology, documents and procedures.

Certification/Licensure:
