Summary:
The Investigational Pharmacy Specialist is a member of the Research team responsible for supporting all phases of clinical research involving pharmaceutical agents within the organization. This role manages investigational drug procurement, storage, preparation, dispensing, and accountability, while ensuring compliance with regulatory, protocol, and sponsor requirements. The specialist also collaborates with investigators and research staff, conducts feasibility assessments, assists with budgeting, maintains accurate records, and provides training to pharmacy personnel on investigational drug processes. The position helps uphold study integrity and patient safety through close adherence to established guidelines and standards.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of relevant pediatric pharmacy experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Texas State Board of Pharmacy Registration
- Current Basic Life Support certification
