Job Description
We are looking for you, aSupplier Quality Engineering - Technical Assistance (m/f/diverse), to support our business area Original Equipment Solutions at the location Karben.

Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

  • Supporting the project team in preparing suppliers for projects until SOP (start of production)
  • Conducting maturity evaluation in collaboration with the project team, especially advanced purchasing
  • Performing and following up on supplier component reviews with the project team
  • Supporting the decision-making process for supplier nomination
  • Supporting the supplier during the product development phase and process development phase until SOP
  • Evaluating milestones and due dates
  • Planning and conducting necessary R@R (risk and readiness) processes (processes and capacities)
  • Tracking and closing processes
  • Engaging in direct communication with the supplier
  • Approving supplier, process and product
  • Defining the SLC (supplier lifecycle) criteria with the project team

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (Master or equivalent preferred) with a technical background
  • Experienced in operations and/or Quality Management and/or R&D
  • Leadership experience with small project teams (2-6 people)
  • Strong technical backgroundincluding project management
  • Knowledge of mechanical processing, injection/blow-molding, rubber technologiesand assembling
  • Certified VDA 6.3 auditor
  • Fluent English language skills written and spoken, German language skills are desirable
  • Occasional participation in international teams
Advanced Skills:
  • Familiarity with FIDES, SCR 1 + 2, APQP, safe launch concept, run+rateand capacity evaluation
  • Expertise in process approvals and experience with VDA 6.3
  • Understanding of differences between VDA and similar international core tools
  • Knowledge of GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) for measurement
  • Experienced in PPAP, VDA 2, IMDSand process knowledge (e.g.CQI)
Basic Skills:
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g.SAP/P23)
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience with IATF 16949
  • Familiarity with ISO 19011 guidelines for management systems auditing
  • Understanding of cleanliness specifications and customer requirements
