Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES INCLUDE
- Continual review of billing, orders, pricing, and ledger postings against plan, forecast and prior year results.
- Identify and report any ideas of financial weakness in a timely manner.
- Continually checking and reconciling data across multiple databases to ensure the integrity of the financial data.
- Provide information and resolve any queries raised by internal/external auditors.
- Prepare accurate reports in line with strict company timetable including Profit & Loss with analysis and commentary.
- Provide support and assistance with Customer KPIs delivered through BI tooling.
- Continually investigate cost saving and efficiency improvement opportunities via BI solutions.
- Compile / review accurate Plan and Forecasting models for BU divisional management to make informed decisions.
- Any other ad-hoc financial / analytical reporting to support internal or external partners.
- Strong Excel skills essential, BI dashboard experience also beneficial.
- Understanding of data cleansing and manipulation.
- Ability to quickly understand, analyse and summarise large datasets.
- Accuracy and an eye for detail under pressure.
- Suitable accounting qualification or part qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounting / controlling environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and methodical thinking under pressure
