Job Description
To act as Controlling Analyst to provide insightful financial reporting to help aid decision making and instrumental in customer renewals, tenders and rebates. Assisting with sustainable financial growth by taking ownership of financial strategy, controls and management.

Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES INCLUDE
  • Continual review of billing, orders, pricing, and ledger postings against plan, forecast and prior year results.
  • Identify and report any ideas of financial weakness in a timely manner.
  • Continually checking and reconciling data across multiple databases to ensure the integrity of the financial data.
  • Provide information and resolve any queries raised by internal/external auditors.
  • Prepare accurate reports in line with strict company timetable including Profit & Loss with analysis and commentary.
  • Provide support and assistance with Customer KPIs delivered through BI tooling.
  • Continually investigate cost saving and efficiency improvement opportunities via BI solutions.
  • Compile / review accurate Plan and Forecasting models for BU divisional management to make informed decisions.
  • Any other ad-hoc financial / analytical reporting to support internal or external partners.
SKILLS, BEHAVIOURS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Strong Excel skills essential, BI dashboard experience also beneficial.
  • Understanding of data cleansing and manipulation.
  • Ability to quickly understand, analyse and summarise large datasets.
  • Accuracy and an eye for detail under pressure.
  • Suitable accounting qualification or part qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounting / controlling environment.
  • Good problem-solving skills and methodical thinking under pressure
