Job Description
As part of our Manufacturing Technology Engineering organization, our Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity & Infrastructure team is developing and implementing state-of-the-art solutions, and supporting our tire plants globally. Due to our continuous growth, we are looking for an Electrical/Automation/Software Engineer (m/f/diverse) in our location in Hanover/Stöcken, to drive implementation, roll-out and support of our RFID and Geolocalization solutions, in Continental Tires plants.
You will be part of a motivated engineering team driving digitalization and Industry 4.0 projects and activities on global scale.
Your tasks in detail:
- Owner of MTE Digital Solutions strategy on OT Infrastructure, focusing on RFID and Geo-localization solutions (including roadmap and standards)
- Drivingdevelopment and roll-out projects in Manufacturing Technology globally, and provide support in Machine Acceptance
- Providing 3rd level support (Incident/Change/Problem Management), ensuring continuous availability of RFID and Geolocalization systems
- CoordinatingTroubleshooting - Knowledge Management - Trainings on OT Infrastructure solutions worldwide
- Application/process owner, being key contact for all stakeholders
- Technology scouting, identifying and testing new solutions in the area of OT Infrastructure

Qualifications
- Academic degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical, electrical, mechatronic, process, hardware/software engineering) or similar qualification
- Several yearsexperience in Engineering functions, preferably from plant and/or central perspective, in design, implementation and ramp-up of Manufacturing Technology solutions
- Proven experience in Project Management
- Preferably experience in collaboration with remote, intercultural teams
- Advanced knowledge in Operational Technology (OT) solutions (PLCs, RFID Sensors, Geolocalization systems)
- Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Independent, solution-oriented mindset with willingness to learn
- Availability to travel worldwide (~25%)
