Job Description
We are looking for you, a Groupleader PDC HUD Mechanics for Opto Mechanic Modules (m/f/diverse), to support our Business Area Automotive at the location Babenhausen.
Your tasks will focus on the following activities:
- Leading the ME team for opto mechanic modules inside PDC HUD in Babenhausen
- Execution of R&D planning and project staffing for development projects
- Responsibility for all generic projects related to opto mechanic modules on a global basis
- Global responsibility for CETOL-process including related design guidelines
- Drivingconcepts to be competitive
- Closingalignment with optical engineering on running projects
- Drivingand supporting standardization and process improvements
- Takingcare regarding the ME related Q-Gates/MLC-Status (functionality, quality, cost and deadlines)
- Minimizingthe ME-development efforts as well as ME product cost
- Coaching and development of the dedicated employees in BBU
- Support for global know how increase, including further PDC HUD location
- Cooperation and network building with customers, suppliers, internal departments and other worldwide involved locations

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Optical Engineering or comparable
- Several years of Engineering Management appreciated
- Several years of professional experience within the automotive industry and the related development processes required
- Advanced understanding of HUD technologies needed
- Advanced knowledge on optics needed
- Good skills in the use of organization and planning methods
- Be able to work in distributed global team environment
- Knowledge in working with MS Office, as well as creating presentations, standards and trainings
- Fluent German and very goodEnglish language skills required, both written and spoken
- Hands on mentality and experienced in challenging work environment as well as escalations
