Controlling Analyst

Griffin, GA

Job Description
To provide meaningful information to managers for improving profitability of the company.

Controlling for Projects (Investment and Expense), working with Engineering Mgr, IE Manager, Plant Controllers, Area Managers and project leaders to ensure accuracy and timeliness of capital requests and approvals, accuracy of spendings forecast, and tracking of actual spendings.
2. Prepare and analyze cost center reports and discuss with department managers.
3. Calculate standard cost for tires in COPC, analyze changes and explain to Business Unit Controlling.
4. Support Plant Controller in monthend closing and budget process (e.g. analysis of variations, fix costs, balance sheet items, preparation of DCharts).

5. Produce daily Key Measures report and any associated analysis.
6. Represent Controlling in Business Team meetings.
7. Interact with Accounting and Manufacturing Controlling in HQ to provide information, but also to ensure that the interests of the plant are considered.
8. Perform other duties/assignments as directed by the Plant Controller

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance.

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Continental is able to offer visa support and relocation for internal candidates or for those individuals who hold existing valid employment visas.

Preferred Qualifications: 3 plus years manufacturing controlling expeirence preferred.
