Americas Information Senior Security Manager

Job Description
As the Americas Information Senior Security Manager you will be responsible for the Information Security in all locations in NA and SA.

  • Information Security in Global Projects and works closely with CISO
  • Ensures coordination of information security inside IT services, IT activities and IT projects for the NA and SA Region according to the Continental Automotive & Corporate IT Strategy and Standards.
  • Provides regional feedback to central services and global groups according to the needs of the region.
  • Close alignment with the Regional Information Officer (RIO), group cyber security, automotive infosec, and the Location LITMs.
  • Is responsible for both the Automotive and Corporation NA InfoSec Budget and forecast accuracy
  • Prepares and manages the InfoSec IT budget in alignment with targets and frame conditions given by IT Controlling, Global Competencies and RIO.
  • Is responsible for Cyber Security
  • Ensures user trainings and awareness
  • Supports all IT related audits (Corp. Audit, ISO, OEM Audits, TISAX, Location Reviews, etc.)

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degreein Information Technology or comparable
  • 7+ yearsIT professional experience in cyber security.
  • Experience leading multiple IT Projects to a successful completion while keeping aligned with security and corporate policies.
  • Ability to speak on highly technical topics and able to understand and challenge current strategy if required.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Continental will offer visa support for those individuals who hold existing valid employment visas.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Masters preferred.
  • Experience working in a global environment.
  • 10+ years IT professional experience in cyber security.
  • CCISO - Certified Chief Information Security Officer by EC-Council
  • CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional by ICS2
  • ISO 27001 Master
  • PMP - Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute
