Job Description
We are looking for you, an Algorithm Developer for Opto-Mechanical Systems(m/f/diverse), to support our area User Experienceat the location Babenhausen.

Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

  • Development of Numerical tools for analysis, evaluation, and optimization of product-specific properties, e.g., Optical Performance of Head Up Displays
  • Automation of data exchange between different engineering tools (Matlab, Zemax Opticstudio, Creo CAD, Python, Modelica)
  • Extension of modular process chain with focus onflexibility for project-specific workflows
  • Standardization and automation of interdisciplinary development workflows

Qualifications
  • Academic degree in Physics, Mathematicsor related disciplines
  • Profound knowledge in Matlab and Python, base knowledge of Zemax Opticstudio or Creo is preferred
  • Knowledge on the simulation of optical and thermal systems e.g. for Head-up Displays would be beneficial
  • Several years of working experience in SW-development, preferably within automotive industryand good knowledge of typical development processes
  • Outstanding communication skills to understand the needs of internal stakeholders and to negotiate and align work streams interdisciplinary
  • Very goodGerman and English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Intercultural competency
  • Problem-solving knowhow, assertiveness and ability to work in a team
