Expected salary range of $135,900 to $151,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Provide guidance to the site Senior Management Team to ensure financial goals are effectively achieved. Oversee and provide support to various accounting functions within the site business unit. Primary Duties and Accountabilities


PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide direction and guidance to the site management team to develop annual Budgets and a Long-Range Plan that supports Constellation Nuclear' s financial goals.
  • Contributes to the preparation and delivery of corporation's monthly financial statement close process, ensures financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely, and analyzes and reviews financial statements.
  • Provide monthly Budget Performance reports to the Site management team and Constellation Nuclear to ensure the site meets budget targets and that budgets are prioritized to support achievement of financial goals.
  • Prepare the monthly reporting packages for corporate entities including analysis of current actual results to prior period actual results for corporations for use in Board and Senior Management reporting and external reporting.
  • Manage the professional Business Operations staff including career development programs for assigned employees. Communicate company programs, announcements, policies, etc.
  • Support the implementation of changes in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Interacts with internal and external auditors, Corporate Controller's Department and business units as required to accomplish goals. Positional focus and duties require the supervision of less experienced staff.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to the project prioritization process via the Project Review Committee.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-year degree in accounting, finance or general business administration.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Effective financial analysis skills combined with effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Internal accounting controls acumen.
  • Good interpersonal skills and team working capabilities.
  • General knowledge of accounting systems and technology.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA in Finance, Accounting or Economics and/or CPA or other financial certification.
  • Working knowledge of Business Operations and the Nuclear Industry.
  • Previous managerial experience.
