Position Summary

The Planner, Advanced Planning Supply is responsible for the creation of an optimized End-to-End (E2E) network supply plan for the entire portfolio that balances working capital investment and service levels at each node of the CBI and distributor network. The initial E2E network supply plan considers optimized levels of inventory to maximize efficiency targets, minimize working capital costs, conserve cash and deliver optimal service levels by managing stock levels. This plan is used as target levels for the S&OP team's tactical inventory planning, as well as strategic capacity planning. The role will also manage key risks and opportunities associated with network capacity planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Build the finished good inventory strategy for the business using segmentation and multi-echelon inventory optimization methodologies in combination with known business factors.
  • Build out new ways of working with existing JDA Inventory Optimization tool and process and define handoffs, communication, and cadence.
  • Additionally, support the roll out of the new tool and process by engaging in the design and testing of the new inventory planning tool in the coming year.
  • Facilitate the partnership with network design and logistics to build out our network capacity in line with requirements for volume and geography, in a cost-effective manner, considering our overall end-to-end inventory strategy and risk mitigation options.
  • Partner with our logistics business partners by defining the process further; timely handoffs of plan versions and by building out a change story to provide proper context and documentation for planning and decision making.
  • Supports the Advanced Supply Planning Manager to help to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency & effectiveness of Inventory planning through process improvement initiatives.
  • Generates, analyzes, and reports Key Performance Indicators.
  • Support ad hoc supply chain and cost savings initiatives as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.A./B.S. majoring in Supply Chain, Operations or a business-related field or equivalent working experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in Planning, Finance, Optimization, Supply Chain, Production roles.
  • Deep understanding of technology enablement and current technology tools (i.e. o9, Blue Yonder, SAP), business intelligence tools & business analytics software.
  • Advanced experience with ability to translate data thru storytelling into presentation formats such as PowerPoint.
  • Expert within conflict management. Understands organizational "hot spots" and focuses diverse groups on common organizational outcomes. Fosters productive dialogue and manages high-tension situations with diplomacy and tact to maintain credibility and influence.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, & problem-solving skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with co-workers, related internal functions, external partners, and on project teams.
  • Solid, straightforward, and professional oral and written communication skills, including presenting data and analysis clearly to management.
  • Process improvement experience with a history of strong results.

The salary range for this role is:
$78,800.00 - $118,200.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
