Resumen
The Capital Planning Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving all CAPEX (capital expenditure) activities across our Breweries operations. This critical role oversees the evaluation, budgeting, and prioritization of capital investments-including facility expansions, equipment upgrades, and sustainability initiatives-to advance CBI's growth and operational excellence objectives. A key aspect of the position is leading teams through FEL1 and FEL2 stages of our Front-End Loading (FEL) process, ensuring projects transition seamlessly from concept through funding approval. The Capital Planning Manager collaborates closely with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to guarantee that every capital project aligns with CBI's long-term strategic goals.
Responsabilidades
1 Strategic Capital Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive short- and long-term capital plans that align with CBI's corporate objectives and growth strategies.
2 Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual and multi-year capital budgeting process, including the preparation of a detailed three-year plan for miscellaneous capital projects.
3 Project Assessment & Prioritization: Evaluate capital project proposals, conduct rigorous cost-benefit analyses, and prioritize investments based on key impact metrics such as ESG, Quality, and Business Continuity Risk.
4 Governance & Approval Process: Manage the CAPEX Committee agenda, overseeing projects from Capital Appropriation Request (CAR) development through to final Leadership approval.
5 Portfolio Management & KPI Development: Consolidate the capital portfolio, establish KPIs to measure project performance, and proactively identify and mitigate risks that could impact desired outcomes.
6 FEL1 & FEL2 Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams through FEL1 and FEL2 stages, guiding projects from initial concept through final execution funding, ensuring robust front-end loading and risk management.
7 Financial Planning & Cash Flow Management: Prepare and deliver accurate cash flow projections for upcoming capital projects to support organizational financial planning and decision-making.
8 Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Operations, Engineering, and other stakeholders to gather business requirements, ensure alignment, and drive effective project planning and execution.
9 Reporting & Variance Analysis: Monitor capital forecasts, conduct variance analyses, and provide clear, insightful reports to Leadership and relevant stakeholders.
10 Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure CAR packages and supporting documentation comply with internal controls, accounting standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
11 Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine and enhance capital planning procedures, tools, and processes to foster greater efficiency, transparency, and value creation.
