Job Summary
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will manage activities of workers engaged in sanitation tasks in a manufacturing plant. Inspect materials, equipment, and plant for conformity to federal and state sanitation laws and plant standards. Inspect premises for unsanitary practices and conditions. You will direct cleaning of equipment and work areas. Work with management and production personnel on sanitation problems, and recommend changes in equipment, plant layout, lighting, ventilation, or work practices to improve sanitation standards. Compile required reports regarding regular inspections, sanitation violations, and steps taken to correct deficiencies.
You Will:
- Be a primary resource to production team to help promote Conagra Performance Systems (CPS) and world class results in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity, Delivery, and Engagement.
- Develop sanitation strategy at plant level. Identify long-term goals, use resources, and achieve goals through cross-functional alignment.
- Lead and engage team members to in improve systems and processes.
- Lead by example and expresses corporate and plant values.
- Maintain team's adherence to employee handbook, GMP's and other plant procedures.
- Coach team in personal accountability, giving and receiving feedback, root cause analysis, problem solving, decision-making, trade-off analysis, interpersonal communications and external interactions
- Troubleshoot problems and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis.
- Seek and provide resources for team and provide necessary training to assist the team in reaching its goals..
- Conduct frequent Safety coaching and implement safe work practices.
- Lead and participate in Focused Improvement Teams to improve Safety, Quality, Service and Cost.
- Lead team in tracking and understanding Key Performance Indicators, Gap Analysis, and creating action plans to address performance gaps.
- Promote important CPS concepts everyday through coaching and auditing of team members.
- Provide frequent informal and periodic formal job performance feedback to team.
- Facilitate and react to non-routine and crisis situations.
- Manage third-party contract services for sanitation chemicals, pest control, uniforms to ensure delivery of contract and achieve continuous improvement
- Track sanitation costs and manages department as a business, including development of annual department budget.

You Have:
- 5 years + experience leading teams and engaging team members to improve results.
- Working knowledge of production equipment and systems including maintenance activities.
- Ability to perform formal root cause analysis to identify and resolve downtime/inefficient operational issues.
- Ability to think ahead and plan over an extended time period and prepare action plans.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee will be exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Compensation:
Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
