A role you will love
Working with the Head of Technology Integration, your role as Technical Delivery Lead is pivotal in supporting the delivery of web and mobile channel applications for our new business, ensuring engineering excellence and strategic alignment in our multi-year integration and digital program. You will leverage your deep functional knowledge and extensive technical experience to lead the delivery of strategically aligned outcomes (e.g., digitisation, revenue growth, customer eNPS).
Other Responsibilities Include:
• Engineering Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for the digital applications within the integration remit, fostering strong collaborative relationships with the Product Manager, Digital Product Owner, Infrastructure Integrations Manager and Chief Architect. Ensure clear communication and alignment across all levels of management and stakeholders.
• Execution & Delivery Management: Oversee the planning and resource allocation to deliver the new business value stream effectively. Ensure delivery is in line with value stream objectives as well as engineering standards, maintaining transparency and consistency with the team's methodologies.
• Problem Solving & Dependency Management: Employ your extensive technical experience to identify and resolve challenges, keeping the delivery process on track. Proactively manage dependencies and anticipate potential obstacles to maintain continuous progress.
• Forward Planning & Operational Excellence: Strike a balance between managing immediate operational requirements and long-term planning. Ensure the team is well-equipped to handle current tasks while being prepared for future challenges.
• Communication & Reporting: Excel in articulating complex information in a clear and concise manner. Produce comprehensive reporting and project artifacts, providing clear visibility of progress to stakeholders across various levels.
What will you bring to the role?
• Experience in leading development of both web and mobile applications (ideally in Financial Services) (e.g., asset management broking, banking), in any of the following:
o Digitising Operations / call centre transactions (e.g., onboarding, servicing, sales, transfers)
o B2C mobile and browser channels
o B2B Client portals/channels
o Digital identity and authentication (e.g., MFA, social login)
• Experience from a Financial Services organisation who has embarked on a digital transformation or a FinTech that has launched digital products and/or platforms.
• experience as a Senior Developer/Team Leader working within a delivery team environment.
• Significant experience in web and mobile applications
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills
• Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data and present it in accessible formats.
• Proven ability to successfully gather requirements and get results with minimal supervision.
• High levels of initiative with ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities.
