Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

The Treasury function is responsible for the management of client held funds and reporting the activities it undertakes both internally and externally to Regulators and other 3rd parties. Treasury is a fast-moving environment, responsible for the management of all Computershare bank accounts, handling all banking/payment related queries and for undertaking due diligence across all counterparties.

A role you will love
The Senior Treasury Analyst will support the Treasury function with analysing Computershare's financial activities, taking ownership of complex queries related to cash management, liquidity management, corporate debt, foreign exchange, interest rate and payments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administration of bank account structures that facilitates the efficient move of cash through an optimal number of banks and bank accounts.
  • Implement global bank account management processes such as management of bank mandates; Know Your Customer activities; opening and closing of accounts; bank fee analysis; and administration of banking portals.
  • Execute complex Liquidity management processes, such as short-term cash flow forecasting; determining liquidity needs; and interest collection management.
  • Oversee the execution of surplus and deficit cash positions to determine cash movements.
  • Monitor daily cash positions and forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity, and make planning/forecasting recommendations.
  • Execute trade/transaction confirmations and oversee payment processes.
  • Monitor bank fees, discussions with banks on day-to-day elements and supporting strategic banking relationship activities, resolving complex queries and escalations.

What will you bring to the role
As the Senior Treasury Analyst you will have a direct impact on the business ability to maximise margin income. To be successful you will have experience working in a similar analytical and complex role within a Treasury or Finance team.

  • Considerable previous experience of working in a Treasury environment and the associated regulatory landscape.
  • Strong experience of Treasury systems and processes including automation.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry and relevant banking processes and products.
  • Ideally educated to degree level in Finance or Accounting or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Certified Treasury Professional or Chartered Financial Analyst.
