Our team is seeking a talented Senior Solution Engineer with a strong background in Business Analysis to join our team. Reporting to the Lead Solution Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and participating in customer facing enterprise-wide projects within the global Issuer Services team.

Working closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, Line of Business critical stakeholders, Customer Experience Designers, and Engineers, you will act as a communicator, facilitator, and mediator to identify and implement effective solutions through technology, strategy, and analytics. You will provide leadership to team members by collaborating with others, articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers, and other stakeholders.

As part of this role, you also can contribute to solutions using Low Code/prototyping platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

We'll provide the training and upskilling support to help you grow your skills - so embrace the opportunity to deliver your own solutions. You'll have the opportunity to prototype and help our Business experiment. You will clearly articulate what our customers needs are and work with our wider engineering group to deliver high quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Solution Engineers, Architects, and UI/UX experts to identify requirements and propose solutions
  • Evaluate and document existing processes, and suggest potential improvements
  • Prepare high-level requirements for further refinement, including high quality, clear user stories
  • Accurately capture information in a format that stakeholders can understand, review, and approve
  • Run effective stakeholder workshops - always looking to keep things interactive and fun!
  • Liaise with off-site stakeholders using remote communication tools such as teleconferencing and email.
  • Work closely with other Engineers to meet our business and customer requirements while building it right
  • Look for better ways of doing things and continuously improve the processes
  • Identify your own development areas, seek feedback, and provide feedback to others for their growth
  • Attend conferences, in-house training, and share your learnings with the rest of the team

What will you bring to the role?

As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will use your analysis skills to thoroughly examine any business problem and provide innovative solutions that can help the organization achieve its objectives.

Essential skills:

  • A commitment to learning and development in the field of business analysis and solution engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Experience with software development methodologies, life cycles and Senior processes
  • Strong problem solving, analytical thinking and team work skills
  • Continuous improvement and learning mindset

Desired skills:

  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery (Scrum and/or Kanban) is preferable
  • Experience in IT or the Finance industry desirable but not essential
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computing, Business, Information Systems, or equivalent qualifications (such as IIBA) is desirable but not essential
