As part of these changes, we are building our strategic capability in category management and implementing a new engagement model. This will allow us to focus on our stakeholders' requirements, while grouping categories based on similar characteristics, and this role will be instrumental in delivering the benefits of the model.

A role you will love

As a key player in our global Procurement team, you'll be at the forefront of driving value and unlocking cost savings within your assigned category. You'll be responsible for bringing procurement strategies to life-executing plans that enhance supplier relationships and deliver measurable results in partnership with business stakeholders.

In this role, you'll help position Computershare as a preferred client in the supplier community, making it easier and more rewarding for partners to do business with us. Your efforts will support Procurement's evolution into a true source of competitive advantage-focusing not only on operational efficiency and cost control, but also on innovation, risk mitigation, and long-term value creation.

From demand management and strategic sourcing to contract execution and vendor relationship oversight, you'll be delivering procurement excellence across every step of the value chain. Your ability to turn insights and analysis into action will drive smarter decisions and real efficiency gains. And when it's time to go to market, you'll be leading the charge, implementing solutions that align with the broader strategy and position us for continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Category Manager or Category Director in developing and executive sourcing strategies
  • Drive development of and execute standard analyses across categories to identify savings opportunities and vendor tail reduction
  • Drive market research and insights
  • Help project manage a global set of stakeholders to manage project timelines and delivery of tasks
  • Play a key part in driving process improvement and delivering successful business results
  • Contribute to identifying suppliers that CPU can partner with, identifying new solutions, trends
  • Negotiate contract elements, including terms and conditions, pricing, and lead-time.
  • Help develop KPIs and SLAs for the supplier relationship
  • Manage suppliers' performance, including support, development and monitoring of supplier performance metrics

What will you bring to the role?

Required:

  • Minimum 5+ years of Supply Chain, Procurement, Category Management experience
  • Project management qualification - or significant experience in this field

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, Operations or related area with post-graduate degree preferred
  • Industry certification such as BPM, CPBL, FCIPS, CIPS, IACCM or CPSM, or Six-sigma-certification.

Compensation. The base pay for this role is $ per hour. This base pay range is specific to Canton, MA and may not be applicable to other locations.
