Location: Bristol, UK (Hybrid)

The Finance function is responsible for providing transactional accounting services; treasury, financial planning, analysis, reporting and commercial finance support to all business units and functions throughout Computershare, across all global locations.

This position will be an integral part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team. The role will report to a FP&A Director and will be responsible for delivering and producing management reporting requirements for Senior Management within the Technology & Operations Divisions.

A role you will love

Reporting to a FP&A Director; this role will play a key role in analysing and producing business headlines from key financial reports.

They will be responsible for maintaining, delivering, and improving analytical processes that supports senior management in providing clear insights to drive the future long-term performance of the Technology & Operations Divisions.

The role partners with Technology and Operations Leadership along with the broader Finance Division in driving global results, analysing financial data, drafting commentaries, building reports, and managing the structural business hierarchies.

Key accountabilities:

  • Supporting the FP&A Director and Manager in delivering month end, forecast, and budget reporting.
  • Consolidate and review global commentary from multiple sources for month end, forecast and budget. Commentaries include month end financial drivers, CAPEX, FTE and other ad hoc items.
  • Develop global business headlines summarizing the drivers for month end, forecasts, and budget
  • Enhance analysis to drive growth and operational efficiencies. including month end processing, management review of budget vs. actual results as well as prior year comparisons and trend analysis.
  • Support the development of board decks which will include creating PowerPoint slides and commentary.
  • Supports the delivery of process simplification and standardization as well as ensuring appropriate and optimally efficient policies, procedures and controls are maintained and regularly reviewed, making improvements as necessary

Essential:

  • Prior record of accomplishment in partnering with internal clients on Budgeting, Forecasting, and headcount management, ideally a Technology Division within Financial Services
  • Solid financial and analytical experience.
  • ERP (Oracle, SAP, Workday, Fusion) experience
  • Working across EMEA/ global regions
