We have a unique opportunity for someone to contribute their talents and strengths as Senior Associate Relationship Manager.
The Senior Associate Relationship Manager (SARM) role operates within this division by supporting Relationship Managers (RMs) and the Client Care Team (CCT) with coverage for RMs and daily tasks and responsibilities when working with the CCT.
A role you will love
The Senior Associate Relationship Manager supports clients by ensuring they receive high-quality service and accurate task completion. They act as the main contact when covering for Relationship Managers and assist the Client Care Team with administrative duties. Responsibilities include communicating with clients and their counsel, handling shareholder-related tasks, and supporting Relationship Managers with client requests.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Act as a Trusted Advisor to the client
- Assists clients with special projects, expediting transactions, problem solving, and servicing of clients' shareholder and participant accounts
- Ensures that clients' service orders are accurately communicated and executed
- Responds timely to client inquiries
- Maintains functional knowledge of Computershare's processes, systems, products, and services and communicate enhancements and modifications to clients
- Resolves client issues and documents service incidents, follows up with internal business units to secure responses and shares results with the client, and Computershare Management
- Strives for and achieves 100% client retention and assists with increasing profitability per client
- Works either interdependently or with Managers, RMs, and ARMs, to ensure proper follow-through of company requests
- Stays informed of the industry and regulatory environment.
- Identifies opportunities and, where possible, coordinates with sales, marketing, and product associates in the presentation of additional products and services
- Attends annual shareholder/stockholder meetings and service calls, as required
- As an SARM, you may be responsible for an assigned client base of Capital Pool Companies (CPCs) and Startup Private Companies (SPCs).
- Profitable maintenance of designated (CPC and SPC) accounts for the up-sell of EIS related products and services, and cross-sell of other CPU lines of business
- Assists in collecting outstanding invoices and aims to achieve corporate-wide Account Receivables standard
- Delegate and co-ordinate tasks to the ARMs (as required)
- Assists Manager in ongoing training and education of ARMs
- Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.
What will you bring to the role?
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience is required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office is mandatory
- Industry knowledge would be an asset
- 2-3 years' experience in the finance industry, preferably with some exposure to securities, administration and client services
- Experience within a team role, with a strong commitment to providing superior service to clientele

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $60K - $70K. This base pay range is specific to Vancouver, British Columbia and may not be applicable to other locations.
