Within Computershare Corporate Trust, the SAS III works on our most complex and sophisticated products across the Securities and Loan Services division. Within SLS, the SAS III is focused on our securities and loan custody products where we provide end to end solutions to manage and support client needs.

A role you will love

  • Administer complex custody accounts that hold several different asset types
  • Reconcile incoming payments on the assets held in our account
  • Help to facilitate the settlement of bond and loan trades
  • Provide technical expertise related to the different facets of custody accounts, including trade settlements, wire disbursements, reconciliations, FX, etc.
  • Ensure all analytical or operational functions required for assigned accounts are performed completely and timely in accordance with department procedures
  • Be involved in risk related projects, issues and mitigation
  • Research and interpret legal documents such as Custodial Agreements or other related governing documents as issues arise
  • Perform all miscellaneous duties or projects as assigned or required in a timely and efficient manner; participate actively in process or system related projects, including assisting our systems support group with design, programming, analysis, testing, and implementation aspects
  • Propose recommendations and implement automated solutions to replace any manual or semi-automated processes on an ongoing basis
  • Assist with setting up new deals
  • Complete special projects as needed/assigned in a timely and efficient manner
  • Act in a lead capacity for the group in project orientation, coordination, testing, and implementation of complex projects
  • Evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with stated agreements
  • Uses existing processes and procedures to solve routine or standard problems
  • May act as a lead on small projects, coordinating and facilitating the work of others

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, collateralized loans or analysis or Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to analyses information and make independent decisions
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation. The base pay range for this role is $$56,267-84,402. This base pay range is specific to Columbia, MD and may not be applicable to other locations.
