The Client Reporting team produce management and financial reports to meet client requirements on both a recurring and ad hoc basis. Clients use these reports for multiple purposes, including internal plan administration, board and compensation committees, statutory reporting and statistical analysis.

We collaborate with all departments across the plans business, as well as regularly liaising with Account Managers, Relationship Managers and direct with clients.

A role you will love

The role of the Reporting Analyst is to work both independently and as part of a team taking responsibility for all aspects of the creation of client reports, ensuring accuracy and on time delivery. This includes support for product development and reviewing and updating the internal control framework.

  • Managing the timely production of client reports, both scheduled and ad hoc to ensure service level agreements are met, and in regards regulatory reporting, no breaches occur.
  • Maintaining the accuracy of client requirements as documented on the client reporting intranet site, to ensure updates are captured and accuracy maintained.
  • Creating user documentation for complex processes as new reports are onboarded.
  • Gathering, interpreting and documenting customer requirements for both standard and adhoc work.
  • Providing support and training to colleagues as appropriate
  • Identify and recommend improvements to current working practices

What will you bring to the role?

  • The Reporting Analyst needs to be organised, have strong attention to detail, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. They must be able to manage and prioritise their workload efficiently, and also be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. They also need the ability to be flexible in busy periods.
  • You need an understanding that certain processes performed by other business areas will impact reporting due to the nature of the work/systems is required.
  • You will provide support and guidance to junior members of the team. This may involve undertaking a mentoring role, coordinating tasks and/or checking on completion of work.
  • This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to analyse data to identify and resolve any data anomalies or discrepancies. They will be asked to interrogate data and will also need to be able to solve reporting queries from clients in the form of adhoc requests. You will also be required to check the work of other members of the team as standard as part of our quality assurance.
  • As a Reporting Analyst you will have a direct impact on the delivery of our agreed service levels with our customers. The quality of service provided will reflect on the effectiveness of the role holder, team and department.
  • You will require strong communication skills to be able to provide clear verbal and/or written communications in response to queries, both internal and external, as well as be able to translate complex requests into written processes for a wide audience.
