Location: Toronto - University Ave office (Hybrid)

This role is a hybrid position and can be based in any of our Canada office locations, with the option to work remotely for some of your working week. If you're currently in a fully remote role and are not within a commutable distance to a Computershare office, you're eligible to apply and maintain your remote working arrangement should you be the most suitable candidate for the position.

As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for an assigned client base of publicly traded and/or private companies. Clients may be Canadian or cross-border listed. Your performance will be measured by meeting pre-established service standards and achieving specific referral targets.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to client inquiries and/or requests
  • Providing exceptional service within established timeframes
  • Over-all responsibility for and management of the relationship between Computershare and the client in relation to Stock Transfer services
  • Profitable maintenance of designated accounts and for the up-sell of EIS related products and services, and cross-sell of other CPU lines of business.
  • Preparation/Coordination for Closings, Corporate Actions, Disbursements, and security holder mailings and meetings along with all other client activities that involve their security holders.
  • Managing of Account Receivables within the required guidelines
  • Co-ordination with other departments in connection with client requirements (including billing)
  • Effective and consistent use of specific programs and applications, in accordance with required guidelines
  • Promoting and assisting clients with new products and services
  • Mentoring of Associate Relationship Managers

  • University degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Post - Secondary education in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Project Management and Business Management would be an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years administrative experience in securities industry
  • Proven client service and sales experience is essential.
  • Strong communication, project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications with specific competency in MS Excel & MS Access
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate diplomatically with internal/external partners, project team members, internal business partners and other key stakeholders alike.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, but also in a team environment.
  • Ability to develop positive, working relationships.
  • Ability to co-ordinate multiple tasks and exhibit strong time management skills to achieve successful outcomes with attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet short and unexpected deadlines.
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude, self-motivation and strong work ethic
