A role you will love

The Portfolio Services Manager II is responsible for the overall management and administration of moderately complex deals/portfolios which could span multiple clients and products. Deal structures typically include esoteric concepts and active portfolio management. Coordination with internal teams, external counsel, and clients in connection with new business opportunities, amendments, and terminations may also be required.

Some of the key responsibilities for this position may include:

  • Administer and manage assigned deals, including actively managed portfolios with daily, time sensitive activity.
  • Ensure portfolio and trade activity is processed accurately, timely and in accordance with client instructions and contractual agreements.
  • Ensure cash and asset positions are updated daily within internal systems and tied out with clients.
  • Act as primary point of contact for client communication and apply product knowledge to independently investigate and respond to routine client inquiries and requests.
  • May assess unique requests and negotiate an agreeable completion timeframe for all stakeholders.
  • Liaise with deal stakeholders and internal or external parties to promptly resolve all trade, funding, asset transaction or reporting issues.
  • Be competent in core systems and assist with training junior team members and answering questions.
  • The role will assist with contract review and negotiation identifying potential risks with operational requirements and proposing mitigating strategies to safeguard the company's and our clients assets.

What will you bring to the role?

  • 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Corporate Trust, Financial Services, Account Management, Structured Finance. A four-year degree or military experience may offset one year of required experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Corporate Trust Experience
  • Relationship/Account Management
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and instruct others
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex legal documents
  • Strong math aptitude
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
  • Solid PC skills including proficiency with MS Excel
  • Ability to work in high pressure and time sensitive environment
  • Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs and recommending solutions
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $85,000- $110,000. This base pay is a national average and may not be applicable to all locations
