Within Computershare Corporate Trust, the Portfolio Services Manager II works on our most complex and sophisticated products across the Securities and Loan Services division. Within SLS, the Portfolio Services Manager II is focused on our securities and loan custody products where we provide end to end solutions to manage and support client needs.
A role you will love
The Portfolio Services Manager II is responsible for the overall management and administration of moderately complex deals/portfolios which could span multiple clients and products. This role will include working side by side with team members across the securities and loan services team and will also serve as the primary point of contact for client's requests. Along with the day-to-day production duties, the Portfolio Services Manager II will be involved in leading special projects/analyses as requested.
The Portfolio Services Manager II will establish relationships with the client(s) to understand business needs and serve as the primary point of contact to address and solution for any issues. The Portfolio Services Manager II will recommend process improvements and servicing enhancements to improve efficiency and exceed client expectations.
The Portfolio Services Manager II ensures compliance with regulatory and risk management policies for all activities, including, but not limited to, deal closings, amendments and terminations.
Some of the key responsibilities for this position may include:
- Maintaining relationships with clients; consulting with clients to identify and define business requirements.
- Collaborating with external clients and internal team members to find appropriate solutions for the client's unique business needs.
- Support day-to-day activities through procedural-driven approvals and reviews.
- Performing contractual document reviews and negotiating complex legal agreements.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management policies; coordinates closing activities.
- Monitoring market changes and developments, translating into new value-add services while ensuring stellar customer satisfaction in coordination with team.
- Recommend and implement service enhancements, introduce developments or solutions to meet or exceed customer expectations.

- Proactively support the management of risk, in line with the risk policy, framework and appetite.
What will you bring to the role?
Essential:
- 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Corporate Trust, Financial Services, Account Management, Structured Finance. A four-year degree or military experience may offset one year of required experience.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Corporate Trust Experience
- Relationship/Account Management
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and instruct others
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex legal documents
- Strong math aptitude
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
- Solid PC skills including proficiency with MS Excel
- Ability to work in high pressure and time sensitive environment
- Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs and recommending solutions
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

- Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $82,000- $120,000. This base pay is a national average and may not be applicable to all locations
