Plans Specialist Purchases - Barcelona

This is a hybrid position primarily based in Barcelona (our office in Croydon, UK will also be considered). We're committed to your flexibility and wellbeing and our hybrid strategy currently requires two days a week in the office, giving you the option to work remotely for some of your working week. A role you will love

This exciting role is your chance to become an integral part of our employee share plan program! You'll work closely with either an Operations Manager or the Head of Purchases, overseeing the entire purchase lifecycle for employees worldwide. This includes everything from enrolment and contribution management to the final share purchase. But that's not all! Here, you'll also focus on optimizing the experience for our EquatePlus/Shareworks clients, collaborating with the Operations Manager - Purchases to create efficient and streamlined processes for their upgraded service.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Share Purchase Journey: You'll meticulously oversee every step of the share purchase process for employees worldwide, from enrolment and contributions to final purchases, ensuring we meet agreed-upon deadlines.
  • Ensure Secure Contributions: You'll play a key role in securely collecting and managing employee contributions, adhering to all relevant regulations (FCA's CASS rules).
  • Streamline EquatePlus/Shareworks Processes: Partnering with the Operations Manager, you'll help build and refine efficient processes specifically for our upgraded EquatePlus & Shareworks services.
  • Become a Share Purchase Expert: Develop in-depth knowledge of share purchases, creating clear documentation and providing expert advice to colleagues and clients.
  • Keep Everyone Informed: You'll be responsible for providing regular updates on purchase activity to clients, senior management, and stakeholders.
  • Resolve Customer Inquiries: As the share purchase lifecycle expert, you'll tackle complex customer queries and system issues, delivering exceptional service throughout the process.

What You Bring:

  • Experience Improving Processes: Prior experience streamlining processes for improved efficiency is a bonus.
  • Financial Services Background: A minimum of two years' experience in financial services is desirable, with one year in share plans or financial compensation an advantage.
  • Passionate About Customer Service: You're dedicated to delivering outstanding service to a large and diverse client base.
  • Thrive in Busy Environments: You're comfortable handling significant transaction volumes within complex regulations.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: You excel at managing multiple tasks simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Effective Communicator: You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, effectively conveying ideas to a wide range of audiences.
